At Braver Steps Occupational Therapy, we are committed to providing expert occupational therapy assessments and interventions. Our mission is to help individuals engage in their daily activities while achieving their personal goals.
About Me
My name is Vicki and I am the director of Braver Steps. What drives me most is helping people regain independence and improve their quality of life — seeing someone achieve goals that matter to them, no matter how big or small, is the best part of my job. I live with my partner and daughter, and our cat Dotty!
Qualifications
- BSc (with Honours) in Occupational Therapy
- MSc degree in Advanced Practice including skills in Health Coaching, Change Management, Research Skills and Advanced Assessment and Outcome Measures.

Experience
I have over 17 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, working across acute hospitals and community rehabilitation. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adults with a wide range of physical health needs, with particular focus on neurorehabilitation, trauma orthopaedics, and postural management.
Registration
I am a HCPC registered OT- OT59669
I am fully insured through the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and my profile can be viewed on their website.
I have a valid enhanced DBS check.

Continuing Professional Development
CPD is essential for keeping our knowledge and skills up to date so we can practice safely and effectively, and Braver Steps is committed to this.
